The prefect of Napoli, Michele di Bari, has adopted three anti-mafia interdictions against as many companies operating in the sectors of trade and retail sale of fabrics, building activities and construction, with headquarters in Palma Campania and San Paolo Belsito.
The aforementioned measures – as specified in a note from the Prefecture – are part of the broader anti-mafia prevention activity, carried out by the Prefecture with the support of the police and the Anti-mafia Investigation Division.
The fight against infiltration by organized crime and the protection of the legal economy are constantly ensured through the exercise of the powers of the prefect, who can act - in addition to the obstructive measures - also through the implementation of inspection visits to public works construction sites, as well as with the signing of legality protocols.
The complex action carried out in this area - the note concludes - is aimed at safeguarding economic public order, protecting free competition between businesses and ensuring the proper functioning of the Public Administration.
