Antonella Di Massa, the 51-year-old who disappeared in Ischia on February 17 and was found dead 11 days later on a plot of land in Succhivo, is believed to have taken her own life. This is the conclusion of the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office, which has submitted a request to the investigating judge to close the investigation.

According to the magistrates' reconstruction, the woman had ingested a car coolant, the container of which was found next to the body. After days of searching, the body was discovered by the correspondents of the program "Chi l'ha visto?" in a field in Serrara Fontana, near the place where her car had been found.

The investigations did not reveal the involvement of third parties nor did they detect any foreign genetic traces on the woman's body. Furthermore, it appears that Antonella Di Massa purchased the liquid independently.

However, the exact date of death remains uncertain: the coroner present at the scene estimated that she died between 18 and 72 hours before she was found, leaving open questions about what the woman had done in the previous days.

The family, represented by the lawyer Francesco Brizzi, will not oppose the request for archiving of the Prosecutor's Office, having no new elements to present to the prosecutor as required in these cases.
