When they refused, the 38-year-old would even kick them out of their home. Since September, he had been demanding money (from 20 to 40 euros) from their parents on a daily basis, which he then used to buy drugs, even going as far as threatening them and kicking them out of their home when they refused to give it to him.
It happened to marcianise, the author, a 38-year-old already known to the police for his criminal record, was arrested for mistreatment of the family and extortion.
The 38-year-old's parents themselves asked for the intervention of the Carabinieri, who, tired of giving in to their son's constant requests for money, decided to put a stop to that situation.
And so it was that yesterday afternoon (9 October), after yet another request for money from their son, they turned to the military at the Marcianise Station who, having reached the house, found the couple waiting for them in the street because their son, having received their refusal to hand over the money, had, for the umpteenth time, pushed them out of the house.
The 38-year-old, who had been reported that very morning for another similar episode, was dismantling the copper parts from the boiler in his parents' home when the police arrived, to resell them in order to obtain the very money he had asked for and had not received.
In their complaint, the victims reported that since September of this year, that is, since their son returned to live in their home, the demands for money had become more and more frequent until they reached a daily frequency and that, on several occasions, in order to comply with these requests and avoid being attacked and thrown out of their home, they had had to resort to loans, even from family members.
The arrested person was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
