Matteo Salzano's debut EP, "Qualcosa Giusto Per Iniziare," is a captivating blend of international folk and jazz songwriting, filling the silence with four emotionally charged tracks.
The origin and creation of the EP
"Qualcosa Giusto Per Iniziare" was born during a significant period for the artist: an unexpected event, the completion of his studies at the conservatory and the creation of his own recording studio encouraged Matteo to express his creativity.

Instrumental performance and family collaboration
The project stands out for its expert use of instruments such as piano, guitar, and chalumeau, which bind the songs together in a genuine and vaporous sonic experience. Matteo Salzano is not alone in this musical adventure: his brother Davide handles bass, while Angelica Alfieri contributes backing vocals. Within this sonic fabric, distinctive jazz accents emerge naturally, enriching the entire work with a melancholic yet uplifting atmosphere. "Qualcosa Giusto Per Iniziare," distributed by The Orchard, will be available from October 25, 2024, via Risorgiva Dischi. The live presentation will see Matteo perform on October 25 at Kaffeklubben in Guastalla, on October 28 at Antica Osteria del Fico in Cremona, and on December 29 at Babilonia Club in Casalmaggiore during the second evening of the Risorgiva Festival. Risorgiva Dischi, a small label, continues to promote emerging talent, confirming its strength in promoting artists outside of major cities.
