Milan Napoli, Conte – After the 2-0 victory against Milan at San Siro, Napoli coach Antonio Conte spoke openly to Dazn microphones, showing great satisfaction with the results achieved so far, without losing sight of the seasonal objectives: “No one is hiding, realistically what we are doing is something incredible, but we must remain very humble and think game by game”.
The priority, he explains, is to guarantee the team a return to Europe, an objective that reflects the ambitions of the fans and the historic passion of the city: "Our primary objective is to return to the cups, because we know how much it matters to us and to our fans. We want to fuel their dreams, because Naples is a very hot environment."
Between short-term goals and more ambitious aspirations, the coach is aware that rebuilding requires time and determination: “Winning in Naples would be incredible, and we have given ourselves a three-year plan. There is a basis, but it takes time. Miracles happen once, but to really build you need a solid path”.
Conte then underlined the teamwork and unity of the group, united towards a single goal: “In these four months we have created a group in which we think about us and not about me, in which everyone is focused on the common goal”. Among the protagonists of the season there is also Romelu Lukaku, who arrived in Naples with great conviction, as underlined Tale: “There is great empathy with Lukaku, he really wanted to come to Naples. He is a good boy, like all our boys”.
