Mondragone. The Carabinieri are carrying out searches in the four “towers” of the Palazzi Cirio, as well as in commercial establishments and Snai points. Checks on road traffic are also underway. Over 40 Carabinieri from the Territorial Department are engaged in this control operation at the Palazzi Cirio in Mondragone.
The military is inspecting the four towers of the well-known housing complex, occupied mainly by citizens of Eastern Europe. So far, over one hundred people have been identified, including residents and non-residents. Two Italian women have been arrested for illegal possession of narcotics with the intent to shop.
The Carabinieri checks have also been extended to the shops near the buildings and to the betting shops. Checks are also underway on the traffic between the entrances on Domiziana and Viale Margherita.
