The accident occurred on via Montegrillo in the municipality of Bacoli. The victim was riding his motorcycle, together with a 36-year-old woman. According to the first, partial, reconstructions, the man lost control of the vehicle and ended up on the ground.
A violent and fatal impact since he died instantly. The woman who was with him did not suffer serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Ospedale del Mare where she is still hospitalized, not in danger of life.
The dynamics of the accident are not yet clear. The carabinieri arrived on the scene and carried out surveys and are now looking for useful images from public and private video surveillance cameras located in the area.
The body has been made available to the judicial authorities who will have to order an autopsy to establish the causes of death.
