A morning dedicated to solidarity, support for the most vulnerable categories, emotion and participation.
On Sunday, October 6, the Archconfraternity of Pilgrims, in collaboration with the Pilgrims and Convalescents Foundation of Naples – Opera Fabrizio Pignatelli, made a significant gesture of support to the Camaldoli Family Community by donating a minibus to allow the children of Camaldoli and Marano to reach local sports facilities and the campuses where they carry out extracurricular activities.
The blessing ceremony took place after the Eucharistic celebration, in the courtyard of the Pellegrini Hospital, in the presence – among others – of the Primicerio Dr. Giovanni Cacace, of Don Federico Battaglia secretary of the Archbishop as well as of the Youth Pastoral Office (who first presided over the Holy Mass and then blessed the minibus), of the lawyer Augusto Nuzzi, president of the Pellegrini Opera Fabrizio Pignatelli Foundation, and of Natalino Mele, head of the Camaldoli Family Community.
“This vehicle – underlined the Primicerio Giovanni Cacace – represents a concrete help for the families of the community, offering the little ones the possibility to participate in sports and educational activities in total safety and comfort.
We sincerely thank all those who have made this important donation possible. The Arciconfraternita dei Pellegrini, with the support of the Foundation, therefore continues its commitment alongside local realities, with particular attention to the needs of families and the youngest of Naples and beyond.
