Napoli. This morning, the State Police arrested a 44-year-old of Bulgarian origin, already known to the police, on charges of personal injury, resisting a public official and aggravated damage to public property.
In particular, the officers of the III Public Order Unit, during a surveillance service in via Dei Greci, noticed the man taking some cobblestones from a bag and throwing them against the windshields of some parked cars, including service vehicles, damaging them.
The police officers, who intervened promptly, tried to calm the subject, who however, in an evident state of agitation, continued his violent conduct. Only thanks to the support of the Nibbio of the General Prevention and Public Aid Office was it possible to stop him.
Once taken to the police station, the man continued to behave aggressively, lunging at the officers, which led to his final arrest.
