Napoli.New protest by social workers Gesco who have been demonstrating for weeks against the dismissal of 300 employees, a consequence of the decision of the ASL Napoli 1 to withdraw from the contract with the socio-health cooperative. Today the protest has moved to Man, the Archaeological Museum, in front of which two large banners were displayed.
A group of workers, then, after paying the ticket, entered the rooms of the Museum and displayed a banner from the balcony above the main entrance. The social workers demonstrated with a sit-in but the access of visitors to the Museum was not prevented.
In recent days, due to a similar protest, the Royal Palace in Naples had been closed to tourists while previously the demonstrators had decided to occupy the Maschio Angioino and the central post office.
