Naples. A punitive raid to avenge the death of a dog: today at the Veterinary Department of the University of Naples Federico II, the dog's owners, family, and friends gathered.
Images of the attack quickly went viral, and the Carabinieri arrested four people. Five people were injured.
Avs MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli denounced: "From hospitals to veterinary centers, it's utter barbarity," sharing the video of the incident. The reconstruction of events: "Some people, in a medical emergency, had brought their dog to the Federico II Veterinary Medicine Department for assistance, after treatment at a private clinic. Despite their best efforts, the animal died, sparking revenge."
According to Borrelli, about ten people attacked the medical staff and interns after a heated argument. A witness reported: "A criminal-style punitive operation," the witness stated, "this time for the death of a dog.
The students were taken away, two doctors were brutally attacked.

The injured include a doctor veterinarian, a research fellow, a security guard, a doorman and a student, all declared curable within seven days.
Four people were arrested for complicity in assaulting healthcare workers and disrupting public service: two men (aged 23 and 49) and two women (aged 42 and 46), all known to law enforcement and now under house arrest.
Borrelli comments: "We are in a state of utter barbarism. Violence enters easily and often goes unpunished. The attackers themselves documented the attack on social media, commenting, 'They never do anything to us anyway.' The emergency goes beyond a red alert; madness is rampant here. Enough with the promises and hypocrisy; these people must be neutralized."
The CGIL (Italian General Confederation of Labour) responded, highlighting the need for urgent awareness-raising measures. Antimo Morlando, public health secretary of the Campania branch of the CGIL (Italian General Confederation of Labour), stated: "Spreading violence must be stopped. In addition to toughening penalties, a humanization campaign is necessary."
