New UEFA Pro coaches: from Abate to Parolo, all the qualified technicians

New UEFA Pro Coaches – The FIGC Technical Sector has announced the new UEFA Pro Coaches, qualified to lead any team, including the top clubs in European football. The new coaches have completed an intense year of studies at the Coverciano Coaching School, alternating classroom lessons and practical sessions on the pitch, enriched by training experiences at some of the most prestigious European clubs, including Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid, Massimiliano Allegri's Juventus, Roberto De Zerbi's Brighton, Francesco Farioli's Nice and Fabio Pecchia's Parma.

Among the participants who distinguished themselves for merit, the names of Matteo Cioffi, current coach of Juventus Under 17 and professor of Psychology at the Coaches' School, and Tonda Mateo Eckert, technical assistant of Genoa, stand out. Both concluded the training course with the highest marks, obtaining 110 out of 110.

Some well-known faces of Italian football also completed the course with flying colours, including Ignazio Abate, former defender and European vice-champion in 2012, currently coach of Ternana, and Marco Parolo, protagonist with the Italian national team at Euro 2016.

Among the new UEFA Pro-qualified coaches there are also prominent figures such as Cristian Ledesma, former Lecce midfielder and Lazio, Ibrahim Ba, former AC Milan player, Daniele Gastaldello, former coach of Brescia, and Matteo Paro, current assistant to Ivan Juric at Roma. Also present were Giampiero Pinzi, Guglielmo Stendardo, Jacopo Leandri, coach of the Under 16 women's national team, Vincent Cavin, former assistant of the Swiss national team, and Simone Contran, former match analyst of the Italian national team.
