New Teatro Sancarluccio in Naples: the program for the 2024-2025 artistic season has been presented. The program, curated by artistic director Giuliana Tabacchini, promises a rich assortment of shows ranging from drama to comedy, through music and stand-up comedy.
Big names will grace the stage
Among the protagonists of the eagerly awaited season, illustrious names from the Italian artistic scene stand out. Nunzia Schiano will be on stage with “Mater Purgatorii”, while Peppe Lanzetta will propose the surreal “I Nuovi Mostri”. In February, the theatre will host Lorenzo Marone with his monologue “Figli della balena”, dedicated to highly topical and impactful topics such as hypochondria and anxiety.
Varied and quality program
From Pirandello's drama "The Man with the Flower in His Mouth" to the experiments of Oscar Wilde's "Salomè", the program of the Nuovo Teatro Sancarluccio stands out for the variety of genres and themes addressed. There will be no shortage of appointments with Italian stand-up comedy, including the "Giovedì Stand Up Comedy" review that will see some of the most appreciated comedians at a national level as protagonists. Among these, Antonio Ricatti, Tiziano La Bella, Laura Formenti and Chiara Becchimanzi promise to provide moments of pure laughter and reflection.
