Naples. Betrayed by her DNA: traces left on a latex glove used during a robbery. And so this morning, just over a year later, she was arrested by police who executed a pre-trial detention order issued by the investigating judge at the Naples Court.
The man is accused of robbery in conjunction with two other accomplices currently unknown. The robbery occurred on September 19, 2023, to the detriment of the commercial establishment “Bar MOA”, in the Barra district, during which cash and tobacco products worth approximately 25 thousand euros were stolen.
At the scene of the robbery, officers from the San Giovanni-Barra Police Station found a latex glove, which turned out to have been used by one of the bandits, as confirmed by an analysis of the video surveillance systems present in the bar.
In fact, the subsequent analyses carried out by the Scientific Police laboratory allowed the DNA profile of the subject to be extracted from the evidence, who was already burdened by numerous criminal and police records for property crimes, specifically rapina.
And so this morning the robber was arrested and now the investigation continues to trace the identity of the other two accomplices.
