Last night in the Luzzatti district of Naples, the State Police arrested three men, a 31-year-old with a criminal record, a 20-year-old and a 19-year-old, for attempted extortion. In particular, the agents of the Portici-Ercolano Police Station carried out an investigative activity on a motorcycle theft that occurred last Tuesday.
Investigations revealed that the owner of the vehicle had been contacted by a man, who had asked him to reach Luigi Landolfi Street to get the vehicle back in exchange for 3000 euros.
The officers then followed the victim to the meeting place, where they stopped the three suspects, one of whom was in possession of the sum of money he had just handed over.
The motorcycle was later returned to its rightful owner.
