Santa Maria Capua Vetere. New episode of violence inside the local prison. The protagonists of the brawl were two inmates, a 34-year-old Neapolitan and a 35-year-old of non-EU origin, both incarcerated for common crimes and hosted in the same ward.
As a result of the fight, one of the two suffered a fractured ankle, while the other suffered a bruised femur.
Both were transferred to the emergency room of the San Giuseppe Moscati hospital in Aversa for the necessary treatment.
The direction of the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere has opened an investigation into the episode and now measures are awaited for the two inmates involved in the physical fight.
