Salerno. Accused of bankruptcy and money laundering, the assets of the Fabbrocino entrepreneurs, specialized in the wholesale distribution of frozen and deep-frozen products, have been seized.
Today, officers from the Salerno Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza, as part of an investigation coordinated by the Salerno Public Prosecutor's Office into bankruptcy crimes, executed a personal and real precautionary measure.
The GIP, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, imposed a one-year ban on Antonio Fabbrocino (born in 1984) from carrying out entrepreneurial activities, accusing him of self-laundering, fraudulent bankruptcy of assets and documents, and fraudulent evasion of tax payments.
Giovanni Fabbrocino (born 1948) and Eleonora Di Flora (born 1956) are also under investigation for the same crimes. In addition, the preventive seizure of approximately 340.000 euros in current account balances and securities belonging to a company involved has been ordered.
The investigations, carried out by the Economic and Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza of Salerno, initially concerned the bankruptcy of FAGEL S.

According to the Office's reconstruction, endorsed by the Preliminary Investigations Judge, the company's crisis was caused by the transfer of assets to other companies controlled by the same suspects, including "FRATELLI FABBROCINO Srl", thus evading creditor guarantees.
The checks were also extended to "FRATELLI FABBROCINO Srl", then failed, revealed accounting tampering and misappropriation of company assets. These assets were allegedly used by "GRUPPO FABBROCINO Srl" to thwart the tax authorities' forced collection of debts from "FRATELLI FABBROCINO Srl."
For Antonio Fabbrocino, the precautionary measure is less afflictive than the one requested, which is why an appeal was filed. However, it is reiterated that the measure is based on preliminary evidence and, pending a final judgment, the presumption of innocence exists.
