Surveillance camera footage, which went viral online, allowed the Carabinieri to quickly identify them. The protagonists of the episode are a 19-year-old and two 16-year-old girls. Despite the robbery, the thieves earned very little, as the vending machine contained only a modest sum of money.
However, the consequences for the three teenagers will be severe: in addition to the criminal complaint for aggravated theft, they will probably have to compensate the owner of the store. The damage caused by the break-in of the vending machine is estimated at over a thousand euros, much more than the amount stolen.
