Körper al Nuovo: From October 29th Contemporary Dance Comes to Life at the Theatre
The Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza Körper has organized a major contemporary dance festival at the Teatro Nuovo, which will take place from October 29 to November 3. Led by artistic director Gennaro Cimmino and in collaboration with the Teatro Pubblico Campano, the event promises to bring innovation and talent to the stage.
### Big Names in Contemporary Dance
The MM Contemporary Dance Company, under the direction of Michele Merola, will open the festival with exciting performances such as “Short Stories” and “Skrik”, which will be performed on October 29. Following this opening, the audience will be able to enjoy “Ballade” by Mauro Bigonzetti, a work inspired by the 31s, scheduled for October 2. Afterwards, on November 3, Gennaro Maione’s choreography, “MDMA”, will be presented, offering itself to the audience as a work influenced by the horror imagery of the famous director Dario Argento. The closing of the event, on November XNUMX, will feature the choreographies of Adriano Bolognino: “Your body is a battleground” and “Gli Amanti”.
### Training and Innovation with Körper Young
In conjunction with the main shows, Spazio Körper will become the stage for “dall'altro lato della stanza”, a project involving young talents through the Körper Young program. The performances “SILENZI” by Susanna Sastro and “AESTHETICA – palestra n° 1” by Gennaro Cimmino will highlight the talent and creativity of selected young dancers. In addition, the space will offer workshops with guest choreographers, providing participants with a valuable opportunity for learning and professional growth.
