However, Andrea Pesacane's stay in prison lasted only a few months. Yesterday afternoon, in fact, Judge Giordano, accepting the request of his defense attorney, Luca Mottola, granted the "cannibal" Materdei house arrest.

A surprising decision, reached despite the contrary opinion of the public prosecutor Vanorio and the fact that the victim had previously refused the offer of compensation of 5.000 euros proposed by the suspect.

Last April 6, at the Vergini market, in the Sanità district, Andrea Pesacane had casually met CC, a person he had known for a long time since they both lived in the same neighborhood and had worked for three years in the same company.

Then, last year, the company split: the 45-year-old moved to the new company, while the other remained in the old one, taking on fiduciary roles that placed him in an intermediate position between the owners and the employees.

Hence, Pesacane's request to the former fellow worker to intercede to obtain the TFR as soon as possible, a matter which, however, did not fall within the employee's competence.

It was the Carabinieri of the Stella company who solved the case thanks to the complaint filed and web patrolling, through which they identified the threatening phrases that Pesacane had addressed to his former colleague on social media.

A sort of confession in various posts: “Whoever passes through my hands, after being at the Pellegrini hospital, returns home with a missing piece” and “Get information, I brought an ear to my mouth”.

Thus, the precautionary measure of imprisonment for very serious injuries was issued and implemented against the 50-year-old originally from Materdei, with the aggravating circumstance of having acted for abject motives.
