The investigations, conducted by the agents of the Torre del Greco Police Station, revealed that, last June, an entrepreneur was repeatedly threatened, even with the use of weapons, to force him to hand over 5.000 euros as a bribe.
And so the other day, the State Police executed a custodial order in prison, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against a person accused of attempted extortion aggravated by the mafia method.
The pressure put on the entrepreneur was aimed at ensuring that he could continue his commercial activity.
Investigations continue to track down any other possible accomplices and instigators of the attempted exorcism.
