Longtime Napoli fan Pasquale Casillo, the owner of "Ieri Oggi Domani," effortlessly combined his passion for the Azzurri with the dishes beloved by the unforgettable Pibe de Oro. The initiative was capped off by the presence of sculptor Domenico Sepe, who enriched the evening by donating two precious works inspired by the legendary number 10 to Casillo.
The evening, dedicated to the presentation of dishes loved by Diego for the menu of the trattoria-pizzeria on Via Nazionale, saw Casillo receive from the sculptor a bronze sculpture and two lithographs in homage to the football genius.
The event was attended by historic Napoli supporter Gennaro Montuori, known for the documentary “Palummella – L'ultrà di Maradona”, Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Mimmo Malfitano and “Corteseway” CEO Maurizio Cortese.
Between one course and another, those present emotionally recalled the years of the “magic” trio, of the Ferlaino presidency, of the masseur Carmando and of the first two Azzurri championships.
The stars of the dinner, of course, were Maradona's favorite dishes: a "pizza alla diavola" with tuna and onion, and the iconic "spaghetti with garlic, oil, chili pepper, parsley and grated bread", also prepared by Bruscolotti's wife when the champion visited his teammate.
The fried fish from the gulf could not be missed and, to conclude, a fresh fruit salad, so loved by Diego.
This event, for Casillo, has enriched the activity of a venue always oriented towards celebrating the art, culture and flavours of an authentic and genuine Naples.

How wonderful to see the passion for football and gastronomy mix in one evening!
