The historic fan of the Napoli, Paschal Casillo, owner of “Ieri Oggi Domani”, has naturally combined his passion for the Azzurri football team with the dishes loved by the unforgettable Pibe de Oro.
The initiative was sealed by the intervention of the sculptor Domenico Sepe, who enriched the evening by donating to Casillo two precious works inspired by the legendary number 10.The evening, dedicated to the presentation of dishes loved by Diego for the menu of the trattoria-pizzeria on Via Nazionale, saw Casillo receive from the sculptor a bronze sculpture and two lithographs in homage to the football genius.
The event was attended by the historic Napoli supporter Gennaro Montuori, known for the documentary “Palummella – L'ultrà di Maradona”, the journalist of the Gazzetta dello Sport Mimmo Malfitano and the CEO of “Corteseway” Maurizio Cortese.
Between one course and another, those present emotionally recalled the years of the “magic” trio, of the Ferlaino presidency, of the masseur Carmando and of the first two Azzurri championships.
The stars of the dinner, of course, were Maradona's favorite dishes: a "pizza alla diavola" with tuna and onion, and the iconic "spaghetti with garlic, oil, chili pepper, parsley and grated bread", also prepared by Bruscolotti's wife when the champion visited his teammate.
The fried fish from the gulf could not be missed and, to conclude, a fresh fruit salad, so loved by Diego.
This event, for Casillo, has enriched the activity of a venue always oriented towards celebrating the art, culture and flavours of an authentic and genuine Naples.
