Three minors arrested in Napoli — An escalation of crimes, including muggings, shootings and robberies, has led to the arrest of three Neapolitan minors, stopped by the police after an investigation that revealed their involvement in serious crimes. The young people, with an already long criminal “curriculum,” were reached by a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Juvenile Court of Naples, who ordered their detention in a juvenile prison.
Two of the boys were already under precautionary measures for previous crimes, while the third was at liberty. The charge for all is serious: they will have to answer for attempted aggravated murder, illegal possession of firearms, theft by snatching, receiving stolen goods and injuries. According to the investigations of the Flying Squad, between May and July, the three allegedly committed a series of crimes using firearms and stolen vehicles, acting in the neighborhoods of Vicaria, Vasto and Arenaccia, often in places frequented by young people and tourists.
Among their attacks, muggings against citizens and tourists in the central areas of Napoli, carried out with mopeds and cars from previous thefts. Furthermore, during their actions, the minors allegedly fired gunshots in the middle of the night at unaware passers-by who were completely unrelated to criminal circles, spreading panic in various areas of the city.
