The Trianon Viviani kicks off the second week of programming for the Operetta Festival, after an energetic opening with events dedicated to Peppino di Capri and a recital by Moni Ovadia. Under the artistic direction of Marisa Laurito, the festival presents three iconic titles from the operetta repertoire, starting with “Scugnizza” by Mario Pasquale Costa.
This week features two significant events:
- Friday, November 1st, 18:XNUMX p.m.: in-depth meeting entitled “Italian Operetta, a Genre in Its Own Right,” hosted by actor Christian Adorno Bard. The meeting will feature conductor and composer Vito Lo Re, along with industry experts.
- Saturday 2 (21 pm) and Sunday 3 November (18 pm): on stage “Scugnizza”, the operetta in three acts by Costa, with a libretto by Carlo Lombardo, performed by Elena D'Angelo's company.
The festival is supported by the Campania Region, the Metropolitan City of Naples and the Ministry of Culture, with the patronage of Rai Campania. Special thanks to Mister Bio wine for the collaboration.
