Giugliano. An unusual theft, a sign of the times. It happened in Varcaturo where the carabinieri arrested a thief who, together with two other accomplices who are being identified, was the protagonist of a theft of household appliances from a man's home.
Yesterday, as part of an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, the Carabinieri of the Varcaturo Station have executed a custodial detention order in prison, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples North at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples North, against a 30-year-old man resident in the area.
The man is strongly suspected, together with people still unidentified, of having committed a robbery in a house on October 1st. The investigations have allowed to collect circumstantial evidence against him, revealing that, together with two accomplices, he blocked the victim while she was returning home and, after having immobilized her against the wall, he stole various household appliances from the house.
During the investigation, part of the stolen goods was also recovered and later returned to the victim. The suspect was transferred to Poggioreale prison, awaiting the hearing before the Judge.
