In recent days, the State Police executed a pre-trial detention order against a forty-year-old man with multiple convictions, resident in the province of Reggio Emilia. The order was issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples at the request of the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office.
The latter concerns serious and continuous accusations of sexual violence against the minor daughter and mistreatment of family members. The investigations, conducted by the Naples Flying Squad and coordinated by the 4th Section of the Prosecutor's Office, specialized in gender violence and vulnerable groups, have collected significant evidence that indicates the guilt of the suspect.
Given the extreme gravity of the facts and the repetition of the behaviors, the most severe precautionary measure was ordered: pre-trial detention in prison. The man was finally transferred to the district prison of Reggio Emilia, where it will remain at the disposal of the authorities.
