Varcaturo. A macabre discovery last night on the Strada Statale 7quater. A man of about 40 years old was found lifeless, lying in a pool of blood on the edge of the road, shortly after the Varcaturo exit towards Pozzuoli.
The Carabinieri and 118 paramedics immediately intervened on the scene, but there was nothing that could be done for the man. The causes of death remain an enigma at the moment.
As highlighted by the reconstruction of Nobody Touches Hippocrates, there are no signs of dragging on the body: the scientific police are investigating to understand the causes of death, but above all why the man was walking along the road at night. At the moment no hypothesis is excluded.

It's really sad that things like this happen, a man found dead on the street, I don't understand how it's possible. There are too many unanswered questions and I hope the authorities can clarify what happened.
