Giugliano. The 10-year-old boy from Giugliano who stabbed a 13-year-old boy the other afternoon during an argument over a ball has defended himself. He provided his version of events, claiming it was an accident and that he didn't mean to do it.
Shocked by what had happened, the child, accompanied by his parents and a lawyer, voluntarily reported to the Giugliano Carabinieri station. He admitted his responsibility, providing officers with a version of events in which he described the incident as an "accident."
According to his account, that evening, while he was near the soccer field behind Piazza Gramsci, he saw some boys playing. He wanted the ball, and when he found it within range, he grabbed it, snatching it from one of the boys.
When asked, in his opinion tainted by threats, to return it, he took out the penknife that he said he found on the street and pointed it at a boy who wanted to get the ball back.

It was a very bad event, but you never know what happens in situations like this. The kids need to learn how to manage their anger and not use violence. Hopefully this will serve as a lesson for everyone.
