Yet another artistic consecration for the sculptor Domenico Sepe who saw his work dedicated to the prestigious institution exhibited in Piazza del Plebiscito, on the occasion of the swearing-in of the students of the 237th Course “Gold Medal for Military Valor Lieutenant Colonel Enrico Giammarco”, of the “Nunziatella” Military School.
And so, for the oath of allegiance to the Italian Republic of the students of the glorious Academy, Sepe's sculpture was placed near the famous square, receiving the admiration of those present at the ceremony, including the Undersecretary of State for Defense, Senator Isabella Rauti, the Chief of the Defense Staff, General Luciano Portolano, the Chief of the Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Carmine Masiello, the Commander for Training, Specialization and Doctrine of the Army, Lieutenant General Carlo Lamanna, and the Commander of the "Nunziatella" Military School, Colonel Alberto Valent.
Created by Domenico Sepe based on an idea by former Nunziatella student and art curator Francesco Pascotto, the life-size bronze statue of a student from the School (the first in the history of what, founded as the Royal Military Academy, remains one of the oldest military training institutes in Italy and the world) has aroused interest and emotion.

Thus, before so many illustrious attendees, Maestro Sepe, also the creator of the special edition 2025 calendar celebrating the Nunziatella's tradition and educational excellence, also had the opportunity to discuss his artistic creation. "Bronze sculptures," Sepe said, "have two fundamental elements: the material, bronze itself, which the Greeks defined as eternal, and the empty space in which the artist expresses the spiritual. My sculpture aims to underscore the connection between a historical image and the contemporaneity of our city."
