Arrest in Torre del Greco for Stalking: Police executes custody order
Torre del Greco. Despite a first-degree sentence of one year and four months in prison for the crime of stalking and despite a restraining order, he continued with his harassment and threats against a woman.
This morning, officers from the Torre del Greco State Police Station arrested a man on strong suspicion of stalking, pursuant to an order issued by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Torre Annunziata Court, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office.
The investigations, coordinated by the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office and conducted by the Anti-Crime Squad of the Torre del Greco Police Station, arose from a complaint filed by the victim.
He already had a sentence of one year and four months in prison
It emerged that the suspect, already subjected in the past to the precautionary measure of prohibition from approaching the injured party for the same crime and sentenced to one year and four months of imprisonment, would have continued to harass and threaten the victim, causing a state of persistent anxiety and a justified fear for their safety.
The operation concluded with the transfer of the arrested man to the "G. Salvia" prison in Naples-Poggioreale, where all the necessary formalities were completed.
