Acquitted for not having committed the crime. With this formula the Criminal Judge of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Massimo Cosenza has acquitted Salvatore P., 50 years old from the City of the Forum.
The Public Prosecutor of the hearing had requested his sentence of six months in prison. The charge is serious: receiving stolen goods and fraud. The requests of his defenders, the lawyers Gaetano and Raffaele Crisileo and Gaetano Petrone, were fully accepted.
The facts date back to approximately three years ago when Salvatore P., in his activity as an agricultural equipment mechanic, had purchased and stored in his workshop an agricultural vehicle which was later found to be stolen and which had been the subject of a theft report by its rightful owner.
The long trial investigation demonstrated the good faith of the agricultural mechanics entrepreneur SP who had regularly purchased the vehicle from a person clearly identified by him who came to confirm this specific circumstance in the trial.
