San Felice a Cancello. Four young men from the Atellana area, specifically Sant'Arpino, went to Cancello Scalo with the intention of purchasing counterfeit 50 euro coins.
The incident occurred yesterday afternoon: the young people, three of whom were minors, were stopped by the Carabinieri of the Cancello station, who reported them at large for the crime of spending counterfeit money.
They also attempted to use the counterfeit bills near the post office, indicating they possessed a considerable amount of counterfeit currency. They likely reached the area by train.
Even in the valley, particularly in the hamlet of San Marco, there seems to be a group of young people who occasionally try to put counterfeit banknotes into circulation.

It is strange that these kids do this, they do not realize the risk they are running. I hope that the authorities take more severe measures to stop this situation. Young people should think of more useful things to do instead of spending fake money.
