Two entrepreneurs from Benevento have been placed under investigation as part of a probe into the 110% Bonus scandal, involving a total of over €1 million. The investigation, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Benevento Court and conducted by the Guardia di Finanza, led to the execution of a precautionary measure issued by the Preliminary Investigations Judge of the Benevento Court. The individuals are accused of unlawful receipt of public funds and self-laundering related to fictitious tax credits.

Investigation Details

Officers from the Benevento Economic and Financial Police Unit conducted a detailed investigation, gathering documentary evidence and conducting on-site inspections to gather evidence against the individuals involved. According to authorities, one of the entrepreneurs was posing as the "owner" of several real estate units to generate fictitious tax credits through two companies he owned, through extraordinary maintenance work that was supposed to benefit from tax credits.

Fictitious Operations

The analyzed documentation and on-site inspections revealed the lack of resources and personnel at the companies involved, making it impossible to carry out the declared construction projects. However, invoices were issued for non-existent transactions, generating credit totaling €1.311.590, which was subsequently used for money laundering. The investigation also revealed the involvement of a prohibited individual, for whom one of the suspects was legal guardian.

During the seizure, €39.000 in cash and a bank check for €100.000 were found at the suspects' homes. The funds in the companies' accounts and those of the suspects themselves were also frozen. This operation demonstrates the commitment of the Benevento Financial Police, in collaboration with the Prosecutor's Office, to combat fraud against the State. The investigation is ongoing, with the individuals considered innocent until a final verdict is reached.

I find this situation very complex and difficult to fully understand. However, it is important that the authorities do their job to clarify the allegations and ensure justice, so that everyone can be treated fairly.
