Boscoreale – On the morning of Friday, November 29, the Carabinieri of the Boscoreale Station executed a precautionary custody order against two people seriously suspected of home burglary. The order, issued by the GIP of the Court of Torre Annunziata at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, concerns two episodes that occurred on July 14 and 25, 2024, both on the outskirts of Boscoreale.
The two suspects, accused of stealing pedal-assisted bicycles of high economic value, are considered responsible for one of the thefts in collaboration with each other, while the second is attributed to only one of the arrested. The victims, living in two separate homes, had reported the facts to the authorities, starting the investigation.
The investigation was mainly based on the analysis of footage of video surveillance private, which allowed investigators to identify the alleged perpetrators. The two were subsequently recognized by the injured parties through photographic reconnaissance.
The investigations also highlighted a recurring modus operandi: the suspects acted at night and in isolated areas, entering the courtyards of homes after having forced the gates with burglary tools. The choice of time and place reduced to a minimum the possibility of intervention by the victims or the police.
