On November 28th, the documentary "Bruciate Napoli" was screened at the Astra Cinema in Naples. This event, organized by the Department of Education and Families, highlighted the events of the Four Days of Naples through the perspective of families, focusing in particular on the experiences of women.
An educational project
The initiative is part of the "Common Conscience" educational program, aimed at middle and high school students. During the meeting, in addition to the screening of the documentary, production director Vincenzo Delehaye spoke and several university professors participated.
The role of women
Councilor Maura Striano commented on the event, emphasizing how "Bruciate Napoli," through the use of period footage, offers a unique perspective on the events of 1943, highlighting the role of women at the time. The goal of the "Coscienza Comune" project is to challenge gender stereotypes, instilling a different awareness in new generations, and demonstrating how female strength can be a driver of transformation and change.

The event in Naples with the documentary film 'Bruciate Napoli' was a great initiative. However, I think it would have been useful to have more details on how women contributed to those historical events that are important for our memory.
I saw that the documentary film Bruciate Napoli was shown in Naples. It is interesting to know how women are spoken about in those historical events, but I am not sure if the vision was really useful for the boys.
