A high-impact operation was carried out at Parco Verde in Caivano, where 36 illegally occupied apartments were evicted by order of the Naples North Prosecutor's Office. The operation, conducted in collaboration between the judiciary, law enforcement, and the Guardia di Finanza, represents a severe blow to organized crime, particularly the Sautto-Ciccarelli clan, historically rooted in the area.
During the press conference held at the offices of the Prosecutor's Office of North Naples, the prosecutor Maria Antonietta Troncone, the prefect of Naples Michele From Bari and the police commissioner Maurizio Agricola expressed satisfaction with the operation, while avoiding definitive statements on the liberation of the neighborhood from the presence of the Camorra. However, the symbolic and practical meaning of the operation is clear: homes occupied by individuals with total sentences of seven years in prison, including exponents linked to drug dealing, were cleared.

Until a year ago, Parco Verde was considered one of Italy's most active drug dealing hubs. The eviction targeted situations deemed "irremediable," linked to both criminal convictions and incomes deemed too high to live in public housing. The Guardia di Finanza also discovered that some of the occupants were receiving disability pensions and other public benefits, raising questions about the legitimacy of such benefits.
