Neapolitan musician Carlo Vannini is preparing to release his debut album, "Punto e Carcapo," on November 12th. The official presentation event will be held in Naples at the Domus Ars.
An Artist and His Journey
Vannini has undertaken a solid musical path, training in theory and solfeggio at the Conservatory of Music 'Cimarosa' in Avellino and graduating in Jazz Singing at the Conservatory 'San Pietro a Majella' in Naples. His music, characterized by Neapolitan and singer-songwriter influences, represents for him an important form of expression.
An Album of Collaborations
“Punto e recapo” is the result of collaborations with well-known Italian musicians, including Giosi Cincotti, Ernesto Nobili, Michele Maione and Roberto Giangrande. The string arrangements in the song “Come quella volta al mare” were curated by Arcangelo Michele Caso. The recordings and mixing were made at the Megaride studio by Raffaele De Luca.

The single that gives the album its name addresses the dynamics of a relationship characterized by unexpressed feelings and a carousel of desires and misunderstandings.
Vannini's Artistic Journey
Born in 1989, Vannini graduated as an actor from the Academy of Dramatic Arts of the Teatro Bellini in Naples. He has collaborated with artists such as Claudio Mattone and the company of the Giovani del Teatro Bellini, and is the author of the music for the theatrical film “La Giostra del Moro” and the short film “Gli Spazi Bianchi”. Currently, Vannini teaches singing and acting in various schools in Naples, and the launch of “Punto e capapo” represents a crucial point in his career, having been recognized as one of the finalists of the Andrea Parodi Award for world-music.
