Also this year the Living Nativity Scene of the 700th century Neapolitan of Vaccheria will take place, an event that has reached its twenty-sixth edition. The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Caserta and organized by the APS Pro Loco “L'Antico Borgo di Vaccheria”, will start on December 28 and will be repeated on December 29, January 4, 5 and 6, 2025.

The Municipality of Caserta, at the instigation of Mayor Carlo Marino and thanks to the interest of the local councilor delegate, Donato Tenga, has been committed from the beginning to support this event, which is now considered historic for the entire community and which over the years has achieved extraordinary results in terms of the presence of visitors and tourists.

For these reasons, the Municipality has established that, during the opening hours of the Crib, it will be possible to park for free in a car park located near the roundabout on Via Tenga in Briano.

Furthermore, an agreement is being finalized with Air Campania, the local public transport company, to provide a free shuttle service for visitors.

The Living Nativity initiative will be accompanied by an educational project aimed at schools of all levels, scheduled for December 3rd to 5th.

For this occasion, a part of the route will be set up, specifically intended for student visits. This project, strongly supported by the APS Pro Loco “L'Antico Borgo di Vaccheria”, in particular by the President, Massimo Dello Stritto, was organized with the local councilor delegate Donato Tenga and the Councilor for Public Education, Gabriella Grassia, and includes a training-pedagogical visit to the Living Nativity Scene.

"I would like to thank," Mayor Carlo Marino explained, "the many volunteers from the Pro Loco 'L'Antico Borgo di Vaccheria' and all the residents. It is thanks to their enthusiasm that we will be able to hold this wonderful event again this year, which has become a part of our city's heritage. Thanks also to Councilor Donato Tenga for his excellent work."

We expect a large number of visitors and for this reason we are trying to put in place all the initiatives aimed at encouraging a significant influx of enthusiasts in our historic villages. I am sure that this time too we will achieve exceptional results”.

this is a very nice event, but i don't know if there will be enough parking. i saw that last year it was very crowded and the shuttles were sometimes late. i hope this year it will be more organized to avoid inconvenience to visitors.
