Last night, around 20.40pm, a brawl kept the city centre in suspense Caserta. When the carabinieri arrived, the participants in the clash fled at full speed, dispersing through the streets of the city.
The police, with the help of a patrol from the Casagiove station and a police car, immediately began the search. Shortly after, in via Settembrini, they identified one of the perpetrators, a 28-year-old of Moroccan origin, already known to the police.
The man, visibly altered by alcohol, was spreading panic by throwing stones at passing cars. At the sight of the police, attempted to escape, but was stopped after a brief struggle. The 28-year-old, in addition to resisting, threatened the soldiers, promising to make them pay.
After being calmed down and taken to the barracks, the 28-year-old was visited by a 118 ambulance. His conditions, although precarious due to alcohol abuse, did not require hospitalization.
The man, an illegal immigrant on the national territory and already subject to the precautionary measure of the obligation to remain in his home, was arrested. Investigations are still ongoing to identify the other participants in the brawl.
