The man, who was supposed to comply with a court order banning him from approaching her ex wife, instead showed up at her house in the evening. He started a dispute demanding to have some of her personal effects back.
La ex wife, scared, was unable to call 112. It was her twenty-one-year-old daughter, a witness to the scene, who contacted the police.
The carabinieri intervened quickly, arresting the man and placing him under house arrest, pending trial. The woman reported only a great fright.
