Castellammare di Stabia - In a spirit of environmental sustainability, Velia Ambiente, the company responsible for managing urban waste management services for the municipality, has introduced a new fleet of electric vehicles in Castellammare di Stabia.
Known as Ekò, these fully electric vehicles have been designed to ensure street cleaning with zero emissions. Equipped with a rapid charging system, the vehicles are perfect for manual street sweeping and can also be used in limited traffic areas to empty street bins.

Despite their small size, the Ekò are equipped with a tipping body that allows them to contain waste effectively. This innovation allows them to operate with greater safety even in the narrow streets of the historic center and in less accessible areas, including hilly areas.
Velia Environment, with this move, not only strengthens but revolutionizes the urban cleaning service, adopting an entirely electric fleet that represents a step forward towards sustainable mobility in the city of Stabia.
