The Supreme Court of Cassation's ruling, which upheld the illegal development of the area, has cleared the way for the municipality to acquire the property and revoke its permits.

Mayor Ilaria Abagnale announced the start of procedures that will lead to its closure by the end of 2024. "A difficult decision, but necessary to comply with the law and protect public property," she stated.
