The Arci Movie Cineforum at the Cinema Pierrot in Naples inaugurates its 34th edition, bringing a selection of films and guests until May. The festival takes place in the recently renovated hall on via De Meis in the Ponticelli district, with screenings scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The shows are scheduled for 18pm and 21pm, promising a busy film season.
Programming and Films
In November, the public will be able to attend the screening of “The Master Who Promised the Sea,” inspired by the true story of Antoni Benaiges, a teacher in the province of Burgos, Spain. December opens with “Life Lessons,” directed by Alexander Payne, the story of a professor (played by Paul Giamatti) dealing with a group of students during the Christmas holidays. That same month, director Neri Marcorè will personally present “Zamora” together with the writer Ruggero Cappuccio. Other films on the program include “Dogman” by Luc Besson. With the resumption of post-Christmas activities, the Cineforum will offer “Tatami” by Zahra Amir Ebrahimi and Guy Nattiv, “The Time That Takes” by Francesca Comencini, “A World Apart” by Riccardo Milani and “One Life” by James Hawes.
