In the recent international contest "Viaggio in treno," held at the Pietrarsa National Railway Museum in Naples, Abruzzo natives Francesco Paolucci and Alessandro Coccoli were announced as the winners. The short film "Cicale," directed by Paolucci and co-written by Coccoli, took first place out of 160 competing works from over 30 countries.
### Awards Ceremony Event
The awards ceremony, held on November 10, was attended by numerous prominent figures in the Italian cultural scene. The event was attended by the museum's director, Oreste Orvitti, and Mario Esposito, the project's creator and director of the Sorrento Peninsula Award. The evening was further enriched by the presence of academic and cultural representatives such as Francesco d'Ippolito and Marcello D'Aponte, along with director Paolucci and Sabato Gargiulo, Head of Infrastructure at the FS Foundation.

### Meaning of the Contest
The "Journey by Train" contest is part of the "M2 Filming Experience - Southern Italy and the Mediterranean" initiative, sponsored by the Italian State Railways Foundation. The event highlights the connection between cinema and the railway world, highlighting the role of stations not only as urban structures but also as crossroads of human experiences, in a historical reference to the Lumière brothers' "Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat Station."
