During an event dedicated to the presentation of the "Mapping of Places Offering Services for Women and Girls," held today in the capital, Rome's Municipio I reaffirmed its position in favor of women and against male violence. The municipality's president emphasized the importance of building pathways to autonomy and protection to promote women's freedom and self-determination.
A Project for Self-Determination
The presented mapping is intended to facilitate access to services for women, allowing for quick consultation and identification of available resources. This tool aims to provide concrete support to women in seeking help and support, thus improving their path to independence.
Participation of Institutions
During the meeting, Municipio I emphasized its commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at combating gender violence and promoting a culture of respect and equality. This commitment is demonstrated, among other things, through projects such as mapping, which aims to offer concrete and accessible support to all women in need.

I agree with what has been said, but I wonder if the institutions are doing enough to promote this initiative among women. It is important that everyone knows where to find help and support.
The initiative of mapping places for women is a step forward but we also need to do more to ensure that these resources are truly accessible and known to all. Communication is key.
