Operation of the Local Police of Naples in the Spanish Quarters, where targeted checks were carried out against illegal occupations of public land. The intervention, conducted by the Avvocata Operational Unit in collaboration with the ASL and the Dante Public Security Police Station, led to the verification of numerous commercial activities in the area.
During the operations, several administrative and criminal violations emerged. Among these, three sanctions were imposed for illegal occupation of public land, unauthorized installations and fixed works without the necessary permits.
A particularly relevant case involved a fixed structure attached to a restaurant. Built illegally on public land, the structure was intended to accommodate tables for customers, but it obstructed proper pedestrian and vehicular circulation. The judicial authority validated the seizure, requiring the owners to immediately remove the work and restore the state of the premises.

Reading about the operation of the Local Police in Naples, it seems to me that there are many things to fix in the Spanish Quarters. It is important to carry out checks to avoid abuses, but the sanctions must be fair and proportionate.
