Ischia. Nighttime youth violence and the use of weapons are not sparing even the green island. The latest incident occurred last night when Carabinieri officers from the Ischia station intervened on Corso Vittoria Colonna, near a nightclub.
There had been a fight that broke out for trivial reasons between groups of young people who instead of thinking about having fun have the aim of arguing at the slightest setback. And so the usual glance too much, the casual push becomes a good reason to argue and take out weapons.
A 18 year old and a 16 year old were stabbed nduring the fight. The first to the left leg, the youngest to the left side. They were transported to Rizzoli and then discharged with a 12-day prognosis.

Investigations are underway to clarify the dynamics and identify the person responsible. The military are analyzing the images from the disco's cameras and are questioning the injured as well as other witnesses including dody guards and disco's managers. The identification and subsequent reporting of the person responsible should be imminent.

I don't understand why young people can't have fun without arguing. It's sad to see that even in places like Ischia there is violence. Let's hope that the investigations lead to quick and positive results for security.
