### Musical discoveries and innovations
The event will feature unique compositions from the Ordinary of the Mass, such as the Kyrie, the Sanctus, and the Agnus Dei, presented in a special form known as "canto fratto." This technique introduces interesting rhythmic variations and complex harmonies, enhanced by the basso continuo on the organ as interpreted by Gaetano Greco.
The pieces, never performed before, are drawn from a manuscript preserved in the music archives of the Abbey of Montecassino. This concert is part of the Palatinaincanto project, promoted by the Diocese of Caserta, which aims to rediscover and promote ancient Neapolitan musical treasures, allowing audiences to re-appreciate them through high-quality live performances.
