Night of violence in the central Piazza Cavour in Naples, a meeting place for foreign citizens of all ethnicities who often drink a lot of alcohol. And it is probably due to an argument caused by alcohol fumes that during the night a 48-year-old Sri Lankan was injured in both legs, probably with a box cutter.
The episode would have occurred precisely in Piazza Cavour. Investigations are underway by the Carabinieri of the Stella company to clarify the dynamics. The man was discharged from the hospital with a 15-day prognosis after being treated.
The Carabinieri are analyzing the images from the public and private video surveillance cameras in the area to try to understand what happened and the participants.
