The Le Botteghe di San Gregorio Armeno Association, in collaboration with the San Gregorio Armeno Artisanal Nativity Scene Association, is pleased to announce the inauguration of the 153rd edition of the historic San Gregorio Armeno Fair, an undisputed symbol of Neapolitan Christmas traditions.
The inaugural event will be held on Friday, November 22nd at 17:00 p.m. with the traditional ribbon cutting at Piazza San Gaetano, in the presence of local and regional authorities, artisans and all the enthusiasts who every year animate this unique event in the world. A refreshment will follow in the suggestive Cloister of San Lorenzo Maggiore, a historic place that will welcome guests and participants in an atmosphere of authentic conviviality.
The ceremony will be hosted by Marisa Laurito, a renowned artist and passionate ambassador of Neapolitan culture. The event will also see the participation of city institutions, including the mayor and councilors, who with their presence confirm the importance of the Fair for the social and cultural fabric of the city.
